Is it ok if my baby sleeps in swing for long durations?
as she sleeps comfortably in swing....... although swing is not in motion..(i have fisher price aquarium cradle and swing)
It's absolutely fine. My daughter would ONLY sleep in her fisher price aquarium swing DAY AND NIGHT for the first 4 months....I did alot of research on it as a result. (much online and talked it over with two pediatricians) Both pediatricians and my research indicated that it was perfectly fine. In fact, some research suggested that it was actually BETTER for the baby - the swing has a slightly upright position, which lowers the risk of SIDS and GERD (acid reflux)...as long as your baby is strapped in, then he/she is absolutely fine.
